A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has gone beyond one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment eu news live activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
